Fourth Annual Access Job Fair
SPOKANE, WA – In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October, WorkSource Spokane, Spokane County, the Spokane Workforce Council, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation have partnered to host the Access Job Fair. This annual hiring event highlights the diverse range of talent that is available in the Spokane area. This event has continued to grow each year and has led to businesses finding new employees and many of the attendees obtaining successful employment.
The Access Job and Resource Fair will be held on October 18, 2018 at the Centennial Hotel from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.. The event is free and open to the public. Actively hiring employers from a variety of industries will be on site, as well as service providers that can educate both job seekers and employers on resources available to aid employment, including assistive technology, transportation assistance, social services, and more.
Job seekers and veterans with a wide variety of skills and abilities are invited to attend. The event is wheelchair accessible, and ASL interpreters will be on site. Job seekers, come prepared with your résumé and dressed to impress; employers sometimes make job offers on the spot! More information is available online at www.accessspokane.org.
