Update June 13, 2016 - The Local Integrated Workforce Plan has been finalized and is no longer in draft form.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) mandates that as part of the state’s planning process, each local workforce development board develop and submit to the Governor a comprehensive 4-year local plan that meets the requirementsof WIOA Section 108.
The Local Integrated Workforce Plan for the Spokane Area has been drafted and is posted at wdcspokane.com/plans-mous. Public comments will be accepted through June 1, 2016. Please submit comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The process to develop the Local Integrated Workforce Plan involved our community stakeholders, service providers, and board members and also included input from core program partners at the Community Colleges of Spokane, Employment Security Department, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Services for the Blind, and Department of Social and Health Services.
