Next Generation Zone named Learning Lab for STEM careers project

Governor Jay Inslee, Washington STEM, and the Workforce Board identified twenty one career related programs across the state to explore best practices in Career Connected Learning. The selected programs (the Learning Labs) will receive a $15,000 grant to participate in an assessment of high-quality Career Connected Learning and identification of best practices. New Grants - Bank of America and YouthWorks

Bank of America The SAWDC has been awarded a grant from the Bank of America Foundation for the Next Generation Zone. This grant will support Phase 2 of the Next Generation Zone re-design, technology upgrades, and the 21st Century Skills Academy.
